Dr. Jazma Parker is the founder of Parker Sentinel Defense Solutions, LLC (PSDS) and serves as the President & CEO. Dr. Parker’s professional career has spanned many facets of corporate and defense security. She has 16 years’ experience in the defense industry. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Criminal Justice from Walden University. She also holds a Master of Science degree in Administration of Justice and Security from the University of Phoenix, and a Bachelor of Science in Criminology from the University of West Georgia. Dr. Parker previously worked in the Middle East, supporting the United States Department of Defense – Afghanistan. Dr. Parker supported Operation Enduring Freedom and Sentinel from 2013 until 2019. Dr. Parker served as the Security Chief & Lead Intelligence Analyst for an Intelligence and Security Reconnaissance (ISR) program for the U.S. Army under the U.S. Department of Defense.

Dr. Parker began her professional career as a credentialed, Office of Personnel Management (OPM) – contract Background Investigator for the United States Investigation Services (USIS). Dr. Parker later joined the Federal Bureau of Investigations’ Security Division and worked as a Personnel Security Specialist/Adjudicator.

Dr. Parker is a 2004 recipient of the Cobb County Bar Association’s – Alexis Grubbs Memorial Scholarship. She was featured in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and Marietta Daily newspapers in 2004 and 2010. Dr. Parker was also awarded the 2020 Highflyer award from Digiflight Inc.

Dr. Parker’s dissertation was written on “Law Enforcement Perception of Social Media as an Influence in Mass Shootings”, which was published in November 2019.

Dr. Parker has since written two academic pieces, pending publication:

  • Spying the Lie: Detecting, Preventing, and Neutralizing Insider Threats in National Security Agencies

Dr. Parker enjoys working in defense and industrial security. She is passionate about getting our nation’s workforce cleared and navigating the security clearance process.
